Why You’ll Love This Training

Visionary Craniosacral Work® is more than a therapeutic method – it is a refined way of meeting another human being with gentleness, respect, and attuned presence.

Rooted in what Hugh Milne calls the “heart of listening,” this training helps you perceive not only anatomy and physiology, but also the subtle currents of energy, emotion, and life-force that move within each person.

In this training, you will:

  • Learn to listen with your hands and your whole presence

  • Support healing through subtle, precise, and responsive contact

  • Deepen your intuition and trust in your inner perceptual guidance

  • Cultivate a calm, grounded, and reliable therapeutic presence

  • Join a warm, supportive community of fellow practitioners and students

This work has the capacity to transform not only your professional practice, but also your perception, your relationships, and the way you inhabit your own life.

I was very pleasantly surprised how restorative sessions with Frances were. She has a great blend of professionalism and personal warmth, and my nervous system was very receptive to her work.

During sessions I would enter in a deeply relaxed state and would feel the continuing effects of that experience for days.

I’ve done many types of therapeutic modalities and this is my favorite. Healing doesn’t have to be painful!

Lauren, USA

I really enjoyed the class, and appreciated the efforts Frances made to ensure everyone in the class was seen and encouraged.

I liked the fact she was able to recognize everyone learns differently, and this helped me especially on the last day when we were doing the final session.

Frances is an excellent teacher, with a way that is kind and considerate. But she also takes on the responsibility of teaching this work with the seriousness it needs.

Wendy, New Zealand

Cranial 6 (C6): Asymmetric Techniques, Sutures and Sinuses

C6 is a four‑day advanced training that deepens and refines your Visionary Craniosacral Work® by focusing on cranial sutures, sinus structures, asymmetry correction, and subtle structural/energetic articulation. Students entering C6 are expected to have completed C1–C5 (or equivalent prerequisites per Milne Institute requirements) and to be ready to work with more intricate cranial architecture and subtle, three‑dimensional techniques.

In C6, you will learn to:

  • Apply asymmetric techniques to the skull — working with sutures and cranial bones in three‑dimensional, non‑uniform patterns rather than symmetrical holds.

  • Work therapeutically with the cranial sutures, sinuses, and associated structures, using protocols designed for cranial base, sinus, and suture dynamics.

  • Use visual and tactile diagnostic practices; pre‑visualizing target structures, sensing cranial architecture, and mapping the relationships between sutures, sinuses, membranes, and energies.

  • Develop refined perceptual clarity and subtlety: tracking changes in structure and consciousness with minimal force, supported by conscious presence and deep listening.

  • Understand the potential for asymmetry, restriction, and imbalance in the cranial system — and how to approach these with care, respect, and sensitivity to the body’s own intelligence.

You’ll explore key structures and systems including:

  • Cranial sutural architecture — sutures connecting cranial bones, suture mobility, overlapping suture dynamics.

  • Cranial sinuses and air‑filled spaces, their structural relationships with surrounding bones and membranes, and how sinus dynamics interface with craniosacral rhythms.

  • Cranial base, internal membrane system, dural membranes, and their relation to sutures and sinus structures.
